Scorponok is a decently challenging piece to pick up MISB. The box is enormous, and so a box with as little wear as this one exibits is quite difficult to find. Smaller boxes were much less easy to damage, so finding a G1 car MISB case fresh condition is far easier than a later issue figure in an enormous box like Scorponok is to find case fresh. What is interesting about Scorponok is the box pictures of the toy, show many different colors for Fast Track, and Scorponok than were what was actually produced. Someone also was careless when they opened the case this came in, as box cutter slashes are visible on one side. Still a great display piece, and very difficult to find in this condition.

This piece was obtained from a collector who bought one of every Transformer made in the 80's, and decided to part with the collection.
