The US Piranacon Giftset is in many's opinion the hardest to find of all Transformers period. Finding one MISB was something I thought I would never achieve, and I was very fortunate to come across this piece. The box is in fabulous condition, especially considering its size. A true rarity, and something that never shows up, this is as good as it gets. This giftset featured only five of the six seacons, unlike its Japanese counterpart that featured all six, and this piece was made during series five, when the Transformers line was in a deep decline. Due to this, not many of this set were made, and even to find one MIB is a great accomplishment. Since I do not have another to compare it with, I cannot tell what all differences there may be between the normal giftset. I did notice some typos on the box, but that may have went to print on the normal version. If I find another set, I will compare the differences and document them on the site.

This piece was obtained from a private collector. It was originally planned to be put in the Hasbro Museum, showcasing every toy made in the Transformers line.
