Finding a legitimate MISB Transformer is pretty difficult.
But to find a piece like this in this shape, is quite challenging.
The box isn't perfect, but still in great glossy condition,
and the box features the Computron artwork exclusive to
Japan. The US version pictured a more awkward picture of
a perspective picture of a two-gun toting Computron. However,
the US didn't come with two guns for Computron, so it is
a bit odd. The Japanese Computron Giftset also includes
a "decisive battle" poster featuring the concept
of "Scramble City." All of the combiners in Japan
were known as a group labeled by "Scramble City"
which meant the combiners could combine not just with their
own group (i.e. the Technobots combine with other technobots)
but can combine with other groups (i.e. the Technobots can
merge with the Aerialbots, etc.). This poster features combinations
such as some of the Protectobots merge with the Technobots,
and Terrorists (Terrorcons in the US) form with the Stunticons.
A concept kind of lost in the US marketing campaign, although
a kid with five minutes of spare time could have figured
it out. This set also featured a trading card, with the
same artwork that appears on the box.
This piece was obtained from the collection of a collector
in the Netherlands
