The Goodbye Giftses were released in homage of the two legendary leaders of the Decepticons and Autobots that died in "Transformers the Movie." Optimus Prime and Megatron both were replaced with new leaders in the movie, and these two sets were released exclusively to Japan. This set was released oddly enough with a Megatron that features red plastic for the legs and arms, as well as pellets, despite the packaging featuring blue plastic. It is also the non-chromed Japanese style Megatron, and a standard release Starscream. The set includes a poster, which seems to be easily lost when picking up these sets. The box has a very sturdy and thick cardboard, but the artwork on top seems to be very easy to be damaged, as ones in mint condition rarely surface. A great piece, in a box this nice is quite hard to come by.
